The ultra-performance electric car from Xiaomi enters the famous racing simulator and marks an important step for the Chinese manufacturer in the Automotive Universe.

Xiaomi, known for its smartphones and various electronic devices, takes a new step by integrating its electric car, the Ultra, Gran Turismo 7Available on PlayStation 4 and 5.
This collaboration with Polyphony Digital, announced during the first round of Gran Turismo World Series 2025marks the first appearance of an Xiaomi model in the emblematic franchise.

The Ultra SU7, an electric flagship from Xiaomi EV, has three engines that develop up to 1,548 hp, so that it can reach 100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds. The design combines performance and elegance, with bodywork with more than 5 m² of carbon fiber. These characteristics have recently been put to the test on the Nürburgring circuit, where the Sedan has established new records for an electric car with four doors that do better than Porsche and Tesla.

Xiaomi strikes hard, only a year old
The integration of the Ultra SU7 in Gran Tourism Reflects the evolution of Xiaomi, which in a few years from a manufacturer of smartphones to a credible player in the car industry has moved. It is all the more remarkable that Xiaomi’s first electric car, the SU7, was launched barely a year ago.
This partnership also emphasizes the growing recognition of powerful electric vehicles in the world of virtual motorsport.

However, do not forget that the Xiaomi SU7 (and therefore the Ultra SU7) are not yet available in Europe, even if there are rumors to multiply. Xiaomi will soon launch its second model in China, the YU7, an SUV competitor of the Tesla model Y.
