Yakarta, alive – The Indonesian President, Pabowo Subianto, decided to revoke four mining commercial licenses of the company (IUP) in Raja ampat regency, Western Papua.

The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, explained that the four companies, namely PT Anugeh Surea Pratama (ASP), PT Mulia Raymond Perkasa (MRP), PT KAWEI SEJAHTERA MINING (KSM) and PT NURHAM.

“The LHK Minister surrendered environmentally, violating and reviewing in the field. In our opinion, we must protect this area by continuing to protect the marine biota,” Bahlil said in the presidential office, Yakarta, Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

Bahlil said the mining commercial license was delivered to the four companies before Raja ampat was designated as a Geopark area.

“Mr. President has special attention so that Raja Ampp continues to be a world tourism and becomes sustainability,” Bahlil explained.
