Yakarta, alive – The Indonesian government feels optimistic that it can win in the process of return or extradition Paulus Tannos de Singapore to Indonesia. Paulus Tannos is a kpk fugitive related to the alleged case of electronic KTP or E-KTP corruption.

The general director of the General Law Administration (DIRJEN AHU), Widodo explained the level of the Indonesian government, because all the documents requested by the Singapore authority for the extradition process of Paulus Tannos had been completed.
“We hope that the Singapore court is in accordance with the documents, the support data we provide through the Singapore government. We can be won and repatriated (Paulus Tannos) to Indonesia to be followed in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations,” said Widodo in the General Directorate of Somlasar de AHU of the Ministry of Law of Indonesia on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

Even so, Widodo said that still respecting Paulus Tannos’ decision. Because, Paulus Tannos is requesting a suspension of detention to the Singapore authority.

“He (Paulus Tannos) asked the suspension to be only one of his rights. We still respect as part of the defense of the law, he respected the rights of a citizen. We still hope that he will immediately cooperate to return to Indonesia, and we hope he has also entered the exam phase in the Singapore court,” Widode explained.
Meanwhile, the preliminary session of the extradition Paulus Tannos will take place in the Singapore court from June 23 to 25, 2025.
Previously, the president of the corruption eradication commission (KPK), Setyo Budiyanto declared that KPK researchers had never been a request to meet with Paulus Tannos at the end of May 2025 yesterday.
Setyo emphasized that Paulus Tannos sent a letter to the researcher to hold a meeting.
“The KPK has never asked, but it is PT (Paulus Tannos) who asked the letter (at the end of May) to meet with the researchers,” said Budiyanto to journalists on Thursday, June 5, 2025.
In addition, Setyo said, the researchers immediately considered their urgency regarding the request of a meeting of Paulus Tannos.
“The researchers weigh the urgency,” Styyo explained.
The Indonesian government through a request to the cameras of the Attorney General of Singapore (AGC), currently also continues to fight for submission.
