According to his confession, his iPhone disappeared on the plane when he put it in his seat pocket. After informing about the loss of the smartphone to Garuda officers, in fact MobileIt was not found.

But when Michael tried to track the whereabouts of the cell phone through the application, it turned out that his iPhone was tracked at a hotel located in 9 Riverside Quay, Southbank. When visiting the location, he said that there were 20 crew Garuda GA716 who stayed in place based on the information of the hotel officers.

Then, there were Indonesian Garuda parties that did a search in several rooms of the crew, but not all rooms. After looking for some rooms, Garuda decided to get the hotel crew.

After that, Michael tried to locate his cell phone, and after the crew of Garuda Indonesia in the hotel, 10 minutes later, his iPhone had moved locations to Yarra River in Southbank Promenade, which was 100 meters from the hotel.
