Responding to this, the General Treasurer (blessed) of the Nasdem party, Ahmad Sahroni said that Jokowi was free to make his own decision.
“He (Jokowi) wants to go anywhere,” said Ahmad Sahroni to journalists on Monday, June 9, 2025.

However, Sahroni suggested that Jokowi emulates the example of the former president of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) who enjoyed life after not leading Indonesia.
“My advice as younger brother, presumably, Mr. Jokowi Vio, an example like Pak Sby lived in silence and enjoyed life after not becoming president. I’m proud to see him,” he said.

Sahroni added that Jokowi could provide space for his children to enter politics. However, Jokowi must always see if the child and his son are carrying out the duties of the State.
“As a suggestion and contribution, give political issues to the children and daughters who are currently on service. Mr. Jokowi as a father should always make a child and his existence that works for people. God wishes, they will be the successor of Mr. Jokowi in the future,” he concluded.
It is known that the former president of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is not yet sure to advance as a candidate for the general president of the Solidarity Party of Indonesia (PSI). Because Jokowi is still carrying out considerations and calculations so that they are not inferior if they want to advance in the nomination of the president of PSI.

Until now, Jokowi claimed not having registered as a candidate for the general president of PSI. “Not yet, it’s yet long until June. As soon as I’m until June,” he said.
Jokowi is still considering advancing as a candidate for the president of PSI because his electoral system uses electronic vote. Then, he said, all PSI members have the right to vote.
