Yakarta, alive -The Istiqlal mosque in Yakarta has received sacrifice animals for Eid al-Adha by President Pabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

The two cows will be sacrificed in the slaughterhouse of the Istiqlal mosque (RPH) on Saturday (June 7).
The Istiqlal Mosque media director, Asdar, declared that the massacre process would begin at 6:30 am local time.

“President Pabowo’s cow sacrificed today,” said Asdar on Saturday (June 7).

However, unlike the previous years, the meat of the president’s sacrificial cows and the vice president will not be distributed to the general public.
Instead, the meat will be cooked and will be served during a community meal with 2,000 orphans, scheduled for Sunday (June 8).
“This year, the Sacrifice cows of Ri 1 and Ri 2 will not be distributed to the public, but will be served in a community meal with 2,000 orphans,” said Asdar.
The event will take place at the Pavilion to Fattah of the Istiqlal Mosque on Sunday morning, June 8, 2025.
“On Sunday, the event will begin at 9 in the morning in the Pavilion to the Fattah of Istiqlal. Other sacrifice cows will be distributed to the public through organizations that submitted official requests to the mosque,” he added.
In addition to the two cows of the country’s main leaders, the Istiqlal mosque also received sacrifice animals from several other donors.
Its meat will be distributed to the public through institutions that presented formal proposals to the mosque.
