Yakarta, Viva – PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (Pupuk Kaltim) distributed a total of 45 sacrifice animals to several regions in the city of Bontang, the Regency East Kalimantan and Fakfak, Western Papua.

Director of PT Pupuk East Kalimantan, Budi Wahju Soesilo, this distribution was carried out before eid al -adha through the initiation program of employee volunteers (evolution), which involves employees to go directly to the field as volunteers.
“The Evolution program is a space for Pupuk Kaltim employees not only to share, but also participate directly in the field. We hope that the distribution of sacrifices can strengthen the spirit of union at the time of Eid al -adha,” said Soesilo in his statement on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

Soesilo explained, of the total of animals up to 31 cows were distributed to 9 villages in the city of Bontang and the area of the representative office of Pupuk Kaltim in Samarinda and Balikpapan. Meanwhile, 14 other cows are aimed at people in 5 districts of Fakfak Regnce, West Papua.
“This program is expected to be a bridge for the great family of Pupuk Kaltim with the surrounding community. Hopefully this sacrifice can provide real benefits for the recipients,” Soesilo continued.

The Evolution program is part of the Social Responsibility Program (CSR) of Pupuk Kaltim, which opens opportunities for employees to participate directly in activities that affect the community and the environment. At this time Eid al -adha, the spirit of mutual cooperation was thick due to the participation of employees as volunteers in the field.
The activity that took place from June 6 to 7, 2025 in Bontang involved 82 employees of several divisions that not only distribute assistance, but also interact with the community and ensure that the entire series of activities function without problems.
“Evolution is not just a CSR program: this initiative is our way of building a concrete proximity and a participation between Pupuk Kaltim and the surrounding environment, we believe that the participation of Pupuk Kaltim people in social activities such as this will create a strong synergy, which is important for the future of the company,” he added.
