Jakarta, VIVA – The governor of Yakarta, Pramono Anung, will increase the parking fees in Yakarta to reduce private vehicles in Yakarta. The increase in parking fees will be used for subsidies of 15 groups of people so that they can enjoy public transport services for free.

It will also implement an electronic road prices system (ERP) or a paid electronic road. ERP is aimed at financial vehicles whose financial vehicles are capable. ERP does not apply to subsidized priority groups and receptors.

The increase in parking fees will be used by subsidies of the public transport service ranging from Transjakarta, MRT and LRT, for free for 15 priority community groups.
“For residents who are included in 15 groups, riding MRT, LRT, Transjakarta are free. Even when Transjabodetabek forms, the people of Bogor, Depok, Tangrang, Bekasi, Cianjur will also be free,” he said.
