Yakarta, Viva – President Prabowo Subrianto admitted that many of those who predict the economic sector of Indonesia entered the upper world. Pabowo considered that this would happen in a short time.

Pabowo revealed this in his speech at the Expo and Forum of Indense 2025 in Jiexpo, Yakarta, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

“Almost all world economic institutions have predicted that Indonesia’s economy may be possible for the first 6 or 5 best in the world in a short time,” said Pabowo.

He also told the history of the Dutch state that had colonized Indonesia for hundreds of years, and confiscated the richness of Indonesia of USD 31 billion.

“While the Dutch colonized us, the Dutch had taken our wealth worth USD 31 billion,” said Prabowo.

Pabowo also compared to the current Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Indonesia, which is worth USD 1.5 billion. It is said that the richness of Indonesia was seized by the Dutch 18 times of GDP or equivalent to 140 years of the state budget of Indonesia.

“18 times our GDP or the same more or less our budget is 140 years,” he explained.

Pabowo said that, during the colonization of Indonesia, the Dutch enjoyed GDP per capita in the world. Pabowo did not explain what research he read.

However, he claimed to be very respectful of the guests who came to Indonesia. Although Pabowo continues, Indonesia must fight forced if the guest never left for hundreds of years.

“We are very respectful of the guests, so respectful that there are guests that they will not go to Indonesia for hundreds of years. We have to fight. Destiny that for us the war is the last, we are the war only if it is forced,” he said.
