Yakarta, alive – The president of the Center for the Nahdlatul Ulama Bachelor Association (PP ISNU), Hery Haryanto Azumi, said the State Revenue Agency (BPN) could be a solution to overcome the current deficit of the state budget (APBN).

According to him, in the midst of national fiscal challenges and the crisis of public confidence in the governance of state income, the PP ISNU celebrated a forum with the urgency of the formation of the State’s income agency in the midst of the crisis and deficit of national income. He considered that BPN could be a solution to attract state income.
“The state income agency is an alternative situation of the budget deficit today,” said Hery in the PBNU building, Central Yakarta, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

Hery hopes that the speech on the formation of the state income agency is not simply a technocratic agenda. However, it also presents the principles of social justice and mutual cooperation.

Meanwhile, the president of PBNU, KH Aizuddin Abdurrahman, hopes that this forum can be held routinely due to the many problems that require expert and academic thinking.
“There are so many things that must be discussed with many heads, many thoughts that, of course, will be a contribution to manifestations for the organization (PBNU),” he explained.
In terms of taxes, Aizuddin considered that Smart was not enough. There are at least three things that are needed in fiscal management, namely, intelligent, brave and true. This means that the principle of carrying out tax regulations requires intelligence, as well as courage and truth.
“The intelligent and brave is not enough, it must be true. So, what is followed must be true. Keep the three things one of the mandates produced by the organization to make each decision,” he said.
