Dedi Mulyadi was informed to the Criminal Investigation Unit to send students to the military barracks

Yakarta, alive – The governor of West Java (Western Java), Dedi Mulyadi was reported to the Criminal Investigation Unit after naughty students to the TNI barracks. The report was sent by the parents of a student named Adhel Setiawan de Bekasi, West Java.

“We inform the governor of Occidental Java, dedicated Mulyadi to the criminal investigation police about their policies that put children’s problems in the behavior in the military barracks,” Adhel told the journalists cited on Saturday, June 7, 2025.

Adhel explained that a policy must have a clear legal basis. He considered that the policy issued by Dedi Mulyadi did not agree with the formation of the students’ character.

“The process in you also does not involve education experts who understand the psychology of children. Where there is a time to shape the character of the child who is embedded, wearing military clothing that is spent on dirty lands,” he said.

In his report, Adhel also included a series of evidence. He suspected that Dedi Mulyadi’s policy violated article 76 h of the Child Protection Law

“One of the articles we entered was in the child protection law in article 76 h, clearly prohibits the participation of children for military activities,” said Adhel.

“Article 76 h is a criminal, the threat of a 5 -year sentence. Now that is one of the articles we enter. This is already a military smell that involves children. More or less, that is what Barskrim needs to study,” he added.

Adhel expects the published report to be reviewed by the Criminal Investigation Police. He said it would be called to complete the evidence of the complaint.

“Later this week, the criminal investigation unit will confirm it again and determine what are the evidence that is missing or should be completed. More or less like that,” he said.
