The 6 Best Mods For Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (IMO)

The modding community is abundant for the various titles out there, including our titled game: Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. They range from being the most useful quality of life improvements to just hilarious “but why?” additions that folks would have a quick laugh about. Below is a list of some of my favorite mods I found for the game. I won’t say “essential” because everyone’s tastes differ, but I think you’ll find some helpful information if you keep reading below.

More Carry Weight

Pockets not big enough? Try this

Downloading this mod will allow you to create a multiplier for how much you’re able to carry. While you can invest in strength and perks normally, it should help you keep from having to play “storage bag simulator” every time you go on an adventure. Be warned, however: the creator is still making tweaks to this mod, so it may be a little wonky.

Easy Smithing

It’s never been easier to use a hammer

OK, so hear me out: I like the idea of smithing in this game. It just gets a bit too mundane (and mandatory towards the game’s midpoint for better gear). This mod is a huge quality of life improvement for even the most hardcore blacksmiths. It essentially decreases the amount of time and resources that go into each item being created.

4

Durable Equipment and Weapons

Takes the stress off your favorite weapon

Are you one of those players who like to hold on to their best gear as long as possible and use all their inventory to keep that same gear from breaking? Well, this mod is all about increasing the durability of all the gear in the game, and allows you to not worry about it by decreasing the amount of damage your gear receives by a percentage. Keep in mind that you still have to do the maintenance, though!

3

Increased Stamina Regeneration

Why does everything in this game exhaust your stamina?

Traveling by horseback from locale to locale in this game is honestly breathtaking. It’s literally one of my favorite things to do. However, turning too hard to the left shouldn’t take a third of my horse’s stamina, in my opinion. I’m fully aware that maybe I sound too casual, but that’s just not fun for me. So I’m calling out this mod that helps you manage the degradation and recovery of Henry’s stamina and his favorite riding companion.

More or Less XP

A way to make the game easier or harder for yourself

For those who like to make games that have varying difficulties, this would be the mod for you (or at least one of them). This one allows players to place varying percentages of XP they can receive. So if you want an early high-level playthrough for a replay, or a playthrough where you get almost none and have to survive late-game campaign battles as low as possible, this is your cup of tea.

1

Unlimited Saving

Any RPG fan’s favorite thing to do

Not all RPGs are nice RPGs. If you’ve played retro versions or any Souls-like, you know that you have save points and they should be treasured as the oasis they are. Hear me out: there is something to be said about being able to just save at any point during your adventure, no matter the situation. This mod allows you to perform the save function at any point without using up your save items, which are scarce throughout the game. This would be my first mod option if I had to pick, and I’m guessing it will be for many others, too.
