Amazon’s recurring deal bonanza known as Prime Day is coming back, unsurprisingly, and this year will take place in July. The retailer has for some reason refrained from giving us the actual dates – yes, plural, as despite the name Prime Day is usually two days – but at least it has given us a list of countries and territories where deals will be had.

So, here goes: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the US, and the UK. Also, for the first time ever, Amazon Prime members in Ireland will get their very own Prime Day deals.

As the name implies, the deals on Prime Day are only available to those who subscribe to Amazon Prime. The retailer says there will be “deep discounts” across more than 35 product categories including electronics, kitchen, beauty, and apparel.

Last year’s Prime Day event saw Amazon hitting record-breaking sales, which is the whole point of this entire thing after all – Prime Day events are held when sales are usually low, as a way to bump them up, and it works.

Amazon says small and medium-sized businesses sold more than 200 million items during Prime Day 2024, and deliveries were fastest ever last year, with 9 billion items delivered on the same or the next day after the order. In the US, Prime members saved on average over $500 on their deliveries through Prime last year, which is nearly four times the cost of the annual membership fee.
